The 2011 SCOPE Catalina Spring Fling is one of the favorite trips of the year. It's basically the first boating event of the year!

There was much worry about the weekened weather and a flurry of emails were tossed around the day before the trip. One or two "Poodles" cancelled but most still went and had an awesome time. As it turns out, the weather folks got this one all wrong.

Friday folks arrived and later that evening we had a wine party at the hotel. Ken Bowen managed to cook buttered shrimp in one of the rooms!

Saturday started with a SCOPE scavenger hunt for 15 items. Everyone had a great time with that. Shopping, exploring, and visiting the Marlin Club was all part of the day. Saturday evening there was dinner and music at the Sand Trap. Good times!
