S.C.O.P.E. Road Trip

S.C.O.P.E. held its annual "Bake at the Lake" regatta at Lake Mead, Nevada in late September 19-23rd. There were 20 offshore boats tearing up the lake with the temperature in the mid to high 90's.....the water was perfect for swimming, diving and driving. There were a number of members in attendance....Jeffrey Cheng, Rick Lemon, Lu Lyall, Phantom, Rick Foringer, Kenny Boyd, Al Burns, Chuck _____, Ricky Racer, Anna Sweetland, Wayne Lee, Ron Songrath, Norton Alderson

Also in attendance was the S.C.O.P.E. Poster Child, Shane Sherman, out of Kansas City and parts unknown. Everybody had a great time and we are glad to report no major mishaps on the water although it is reported that one of our members...OSO and S.C.O.P.E., ...is spending the week at the Bun Boy Motel in Baker while checking to see if the world's largest thermometer can hit the triple digit mark....for those of you that have not been through Baker.....it is officially known as the entrance to Death Valley.....the hottest place on this planet!!!! We do this trip every September...so next year, we would love to see more S.C.O.P.E. and OSO members join us for this trip. Mr. Stinson provides the stories and the entertainment...so, it is a guaranteed awesome time.....Over and out.
