Teague Goes OVERBOARD!!

SCOPE OPENS WITH 'THE DOORS' AND CLOSES WITH 'BOWIE!'

The Southern California Offshore Powerboat Elite (SCOPE) kicked off the 2003 season as Bob and Andrea Teague hosted the annual SCOPE kickoff party on Saturday March 15th at Teague Custom Marine in Valencia. Over 250 members, families and guests attended the blowout as attendees feasted on a barbeque dinner while listening to a variety of top jazz musicians. Boaters from all over the state of California socialized and bench raced with other boaters while checking out the assortment of supercharged engines and polished engine parts. Participants were also able to sign up for their yearly membership along with registering for the annual SCOPE Poker Run and Go Cart night.

The festivities continued with a rock group resembling Jim Morrison and the Doors as they sang their hit tunes and really lit everyone's fire. The evening concluded with David Bowie singing all of his hit singles and explaining the "Changes" in his life and how he knew a guy named "Major Tom!"

Jim Morrison and David Bowie Bands!!!

As always, the audience was in full participation mode as they danced the night away and geared themselves up for another great year of boating and continued friendships.

Keep the drives out and the tabs up!
