Newport Anchorage
Overnight Party!

A new and fun event for 2004 was the Newport Harbor Anchorage Overnight! Only the die-hard boaters of SCOPE braved the calm waters and warm weather at the anchorage on a beautiful July 24th evening. A group of five boats tied together and enjoyed some great BBQ food, great wine and a great evening talking about boats, family and eating! In the morning, while it was overcast, it was still very warm and we enjoyed some fresh hot coffee, bagels and some aspirin then headed for Long Beach for lunch. Be sure to check out this event next year!
