SCOPE Catalina Golf Run!!
The SCOPE Catalina Island Golf Tournament
was held under bright blue skies and perfect seas. A few attempted to
Ski on the way over, Ken Bowen made it 10 miles behind his Adrenaline
race boat and Junk Yard Bill make it 11 miles behind Team Turbosonic.
A total of nine foursomes teed off in a
melee of a Golf Scramble. Chris Enright missed a hole in one by Inches
on the second hole par 3. At the conclusion, prizes were handed out for
the WORST combined score of the scramble, The First Place of the worst
combined score went to Ken and Donnie Bowen, Mark Hallaby (Larry
Jellico) and David Tierney. The second WORST went to the Clancy and
Whitham clans, followed by the Bell Family and Steve Ward in third.
Newbie Brian Hakola and his group had a
blast also and scored well, but not bad enough to Trophy!!
